Each and every blade is individually heat treated and tempered to achieve the hardness required to hold a finely ground edge. Our state-of-the-art, digitally controlled grinding machines then prepare each blade to final geometry before being sharpened and honed entirely by hand for exceptional edge retention.
The Professional Series handles are shaped to fit perfectly in the hand, the contours making it virtually impossible for the knife to accidentally slip.
Broad, saw-like scallops zip through crusty bread, reducing the amount of pressure required thus reducing the chance of crushing the soft centre. Also ideal for carving roast pork & beef.

I have bought this knife to replace an old bread knife I have had for ages ,I wish I had done it sooner I love it and the service from Bakewell Cookshop was fantastic
