The Robert Welch Professional V 17cm Santoku Knife features a fully forged German DIN 1.4116 stainless steel blade with a full tang.
The German steel is hardened to Rockwell 57 making it ideal for everyday use for both the keen cook or professional chef.
The ergonomic handle provides a firm and comfortable grip and is made from tactile DuPont™ POM complete with the Robert Welch insignia. Each of the professional V knives are designed with a larger handle and are heavier in the hand than the signature collection.
The santoku knife uses the 15° edge for superior sharpness making it ideal for slicing, chopping and dicing everyday ingredients like meat, fish, herbs and vegetable. The scalloped blade reduces friction and prevents food from sticking to the blade.
The Robert Welch Professional V 17cm Santoku Knife comes complete with a Robert Welch lifetime guarantee. The knife is dishwasher safe for easy and convenient cleaning, however we recommend hand washing to prolong the life of the knife and use a good quality sharpener to maintain the blade.
