William Morris (1834 - 1896) was one of the most significant cultural figures of Victorian England and is widely regarded as the figurehead os the Arts and Crafts movement of that time. His designs are some of the most iconic and recognisable in the world today.
Pimpernel c1876 was originally designed by Morris as wallpaper for the dining room of his London residence, Kelmscott House.
