Barlow Knives, with their characteristic longer bolsters originated in the Stannington area of Sheffield in the 1700’s. Joseph Rodgers Barlow Knives were among the best of those which found popularity around the world from the mid-1800’s onwards.
This knife is handmade by our own craftsmen and women using fine traditional skills passed down through the generations from Sheffield knife maker to Sheffield knife maker.
The precise and versatile lambsfoot blade is satin finished, high carbon stainless steel – perfect for edge forming, edge retention and easy to re-sharpen when it is needed.
The bolster is nickel silver, hand polished and with the edges rolled so the knife feels great in the hand.
The bolster is proudly etched with Rodgers’ Star and Cross trademark.
The handle is fitted with Laminated Blackwood scales.
