Easy to use and extremely effective this sharpener has two stages to it, a ceramic stage for regular honing and a Tungsten Carbide stage for resharpening a blunt knife.
Honing (white ceramic rods)
Use this one to keep an edge on a sharp knife. Regularly draw the blade through and your edge should stay well "honed"
When the knife has become blunt you will need to recut the edge using the Tungsten Carbide stage. Draw the knife through two or three times and then finish off with a few strokes through the ceramic stage.
CARE & USE
Wipe clean with a cloth and warm soapy water.
